Camps - Health and Safety Protocols

The safety and well-being of our campers, their families, and our staff are our highest priority and is at the core of Bailey Oaks Farms’ values.

As COVID-19 continues, we will continue to follow the official Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Texas Department of Health guidelines and take safety measures accordingly during our camps.

We will:

  • Restrict the number of campers each week to ensure small groups.

  • Practice social distancing when performing camp activities. The best way to ‘social distance’ is on the back of a horse!

  • Provide multiple opportunities throughout each day for campers to wash their hands. Soap, water, and hand sanitizer will be provided.

  • Post signage reminding campers to practice social distancing and remind them of proper hygiene.

  • Conduct enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched objects and surfaces around camp (before, during, and after each session).

We require that you:

  • Send your camper with his/her own face-covering each day. We will ask our campers to wear them only if there is a case where they cannot maintain a six-foot distance.

  • Discuss with your camper the importance of handwashing, social distancing, keeping hands away from face, and following direction from camp instructors regarding these activities.

  • Keep your camper home if they have a fever or exhibit any symptoms associated with COVID-19 and contact us so that we can determine the right course of action for everyone’s health and safety. If we observe your camper exhibiting any symptoms, we will contact you immediately to come pick them up.

Thank you for your support during this unprecedented time.

We look forward to seeing you at camp!
